I live in Europe myself and I know the life expectancy of men over here is lower than the life expectancy of women. Just out of general interest (and perhaps for a pub quiz :-)) I would like to know what the life expectancy is of the American male. I do know that people have a tendency to be more obese in America than they are in Europe so I suppose it might be less over there than it is over here.

Well according to howstufworks site it is 74.37 for male and 80.05 for female (2001 est.)
