light bleeding for two months and still continues

I am 34, and my period have always been on time, give or take 2-3 days early or late, but just this June it's been so weird. I started spotting usually around 6pm and it looks watery then by nighttime aroud 11pm after I shower, it's so light you only see it when you wipe and in the morning it's gone. Then 2 or 3 days later, it's a pale pink when I wipe and this continues one for 2 weeks, then it turns to a brownish color for 2 days then a brownish red, still light, but enough to stain my panty if I dont' wear a thin pad. And sometimes this would accompany some mucous for a day or two, then I would be clean for 4 days, then it would start all over again. What is weird is that this would always start on the 30th of each month or the 31st, on the dot and continues. Lately I would have very light bleeding for 15 days, then clean for 2 days and then it would be pink again for a few days and not it's a light brown, and I have this since Oct. 1st. I have a obgyn appointmt tomorrow which took me a month to finally get one. So yeah, i'm am frustrating as i don't know if this is cancer or not. I don't have any crampings and only pass small blood clots about 4 times since june to now and about a day or two of back pain which lasts about half an hour or so. I'm going to see how I like my obgyn tomorrow and if it's easy to make another apptmt but i want this resolved and not wait because on the internet it stresses how important it is to find out early so that it can be treated, but having to wait a month to get an appmt for each test is not good so I will go to see Dr. Indman if this is the case.

Uhm im only 17 and ive been bleeding for Two months straight, and im really scared. I regually see a doctor because i have an eating disorder and i started birth control (the shot) a year ago and i got off of it cause my mom took me off for some weird reason but when i was on it i had no period at all and a month after i got off it i did have sex with my boyfriend and a couple days later  i started bleeding and it never stopped. I talked to my doctor and its out of three things it could be cuz i wasnt on my period for so long it decided to do this, my anemia, or i had a misscarriage. and im really scared. hes taking blood samples soon and is going to check my levels. but i went to the mall with my sister and sat on the toliet and started getting really sharp pains in my lower back and fell to the floor. my boyfriend thinks kidney stones since with my eating disorder i did have rele bad kidneys at a time, but i thought my kidneys got better and so i dont think it is. but my pain is still here and my tummy looks a lil bigger and i gained weight. im really scared, can someone please help me.

I have been bleeding for 2 months straight, same type light brown and sometimes pink with an occasionally jelly like substance that is dark red. I have always been on time, normal, 28 day cycles until recently.

About 2 years ago my dr put  me on Levelon BC and you are supposed to take it like Seasonesque (skip the sugar pills and start a new pack every 3 weeks so you don't get a period) Which I looked up getting a regular period, and it said it's perfectly healthy to NEVER get a period. My doctor though told me after 3 packs to go ahead and take the sugar pills so I was getting my period once every 3 months.

Then, my hubby deployed for a year... When we had sex again things were very different. My ovaries hurt really bad and I felt like he took a lot out of me. Then I got my period when I wasn't supposed to. My dr did a pap smear and everything was fine. Eventually the bleeding did stop but, I know it had to do with us having sex.

Now this is 2 years later and I am bleeding non-stop for 2 months. My pap smear came back normal once again and the dr said lets try a new BC. So I am on Mononessa tablets. I opened my 2nd pack of this new BC and was hoping my body would finally adjust but, nothing has changed.

It seems like every time we start to get a regular sex life, my period comes along abnormally to take my sex life away.

I am wondering, did anyone else get a period right after sex? Did anyone else take the BC that you don't get a period with?

I just found this post and am wondering how everyone is doing. I have been bleeding since aug 25 and the doctors have no idea why. My husband and I tried to conceive in august and then on the 25 th I got what I thought was my period. I was told I had a chemical pregnancy, my beta numbers were very low, then I tried two different meds, nothing. I was and am still bleeding. Plus, The beta number actually went up ( but still extremely low- like 200s) I was then told it could be a molar pregnancy. This past Monday I had an Mva (basically an abortion) I am still bleeding. Pathology came back from mva and showed not a molar pregnancy. Had my blood tested yesterday and waiting on results. I honestly feel like it will never stop and be normal again. every time I take the tampon out I feel defeated. Anyone ever heard of something similar?

I have read all the replies and im the same way.. 

I have the same problem but I am not overweight , nor do I smoke or drink

*HaLLo everyone!  %-) .... so i*m not the onLy one with this frustrating issue .... keepn* a smiLe on my face is no Longer heLpn* .... ongoing into the third month straight bLeedn* i am 37 years oLd and have been to the doctor .... doctor says not to worry and has given a script of birth controL .... fiLLed the script, aLbeit chosen not to take bc as of yet .... pregnancy has been a desire of mine as i am gettn* oLder and chiLdren wouLd be a joy! .... doubt this wiLL ever happen .... so Long story short you aLL are not aLone .... everyday i check to see if i am finaLLy set free .... what happened for me was 2 months of no period and now 3 months straight bLeeding (@ first very heavy and currentLy now Light and ongoin*.... sometimes bright red .... sometimes dark-red pieces come out .... aLL the way to Light brown and even cLear fLuid) .... everyday i*m very tired and think it may be from this issue of bLeedn* .... anyone have any answers .... waitn* patientLy for a response .... tiL* then*

Im also going thru the same , eversince my so called "period" (which did not have a continuous flow), i've been light bleeding or spotting daily for more than 5 weeks already.
I developed a functional cyst, and took a CA 125, and it's normal.
So i guess it's anovulation??
And it's really frustrating to not knowing when i will have a cycle again.
The only "good" that comes out of this is i dont have a super heavy menses if i shd have a normal cycle. It's like bleeding a bit everyday in installments LOL,, Not a sudden FULL payment,, if u know what i mean. But the suffering is longer cos im also TTC, and wonder when im gonna ovulate, and also my progesterone is extremely low at 0.7,, obviously since i did not ovulate.
Just update us , i know this mssg has been a year ago tho..

Hey I have something the same, I bleeding 11 days, last 3 days was brown and looks like its over, but today again start blood with clots, so I dunno. Doctor says its ok, but I worried aswell. But I had abortion 1,5 months ago, maybe problem of that :( really worry bcos I only 23 years old :(

I am 43 yrs old always had normal periods ..In Feb I was under allot of stress  and had no period , march was very light off and on threw out that month.Normal periods april,may and june....dont believe i had one in july ..Aug 16th was very light for 2 weeks into Sept I would go 2 - 5 days no bleeding "always light pink" then it would return back....Sept 13th my period comes and it was so heavy I was so very scared ....I filled a tampon up as soon as I put it in.....I layed down for a the next few days and it did lighten up....I am now on my 7th day and it was brown on paper but  I put a tampon in just to see and pulled it out with freash red blood.....Every one tells me its menopause starting I dont think so because why would I bleed all month light pink....I have been under so much stress as I have a grandson that is 3 yrs old that lives with me "he is my life" was born with a heart defect and having to see him go threw so much breaks my heart....

I'm 36 years old, average weight, never smoked and rarerly drink. I have three kids from my previous marriage. Anyway I started bleeding about three months ago and bleed for six weeks straight. I finally visited my OBGYN thinking maybe it was early menopause or that maybe something was wrong with my tubes being tied or even a tubal pregnancy (my current husband and I do not practice safe sex). She found two cycsts and did a biopsisy but came back not cancer. She put me on provera for a month, which stopped the bleeding but now I'm bleeding again, My period came back last month for two weeks, very heavy. THen it stopped for a week but now its back. Its not just spotting as it was before, this time I have to wear a pad and its this dark brownish. When I go to the bathroom its pink and pink clots come but on the pad it doesn't even smell like a  period and its heavy brown.  I'm now on my third week the second time around and still not sure whats going on. The first time she tested me and she said it wasn't menopause or my hormones so what is it???? I'm so tired from this. I have no energy.

I too am going through this. For almost three months now.. I'm feeling really drained and tired all the time with it. I'm only 22 years of age. I hope it's not cancer.. it's runs in my family. I thought it was cystic fibrosis syndrome but I don't know. I am hoping to get medical soon and go to doctor.

I'm going through this too. I'm about to be 31 and "overweight". I always had normal periods. I had a baby and a year or so later had another baby. It is about 6 months after the 2nd baby that I suddenly bleed very lightly for about 2 weeks...then a normal period at the end..then I'm lucky if I get 2 weeks of no bleeding. I don't smoke or drink or take any kind of drugs. (I used to be a heavy drinker and smoker and did drugs years ago). 

 

I went to the Dr. and told her and she just made a funny face about it. I just started taking birth control and no change yet, still bleeding. My husband hates this. I am not concerned about having any more babies or anything...just wish I didn't have this going on. 

 

I also just started having stomach aches off and on. Don't know if it's related. 

I also feel tired and drained alot. I'm taking a multi vitamin with iron in it, but still feel tired and often little to no appetite.
