Both Lortab and Ultram are addictive, tolerance building pain-relievers that fall into the category of narcotic pain relievers. Whether you did or didn’t know that already, now that you do, you really have to take into account all the possible damage you can cause yourself by causing both of these painkillers.

Since they are have somewhat similar chemical structure, all opioids do, they compete both in your liver where they are processed and they both act on the same parts of the brain, causing all the positive effects (pain relief, all the way to euphoria), but also the negative effects: tolerance buildup and addiction.

Now, when you add Xanax to this mixture, chances that side-effects like slowed breathing and heart rate, that are typical for this type of painkillers, rise to the point where this can be a deadly mixture.
