my husband had Guillian Barre syndrome in 2002. He recovered quickly but has lost, and continues to lose weight. He is now down to 160 lbs and 5 years ago weighed about 240. He was a very muscular man, in good condition at 54 years old. Lumber jack describes his former build. He is beginning to experience discomfort in his lower abdomen and occasionally (more frequently lately) will lose his breath when working- especially in the heat.
can you please tell me if significant weight loss and shortness of breath, along with loss of libido, achiness, and fatigue are long term residual effects of this syndrome? If so, what can we do to help him?tthCode:
