Hello there, I am a guy who is 32 years old. I have a friend who is taking some anti depressants and he is suffering from a hair loss. Is this in some way connected? I know it may sound strange, but I could swear that everything was ok before he started taking those. Is there any other medicine which can do the same thing.

Yeah well antidepressants such as Topomax, Busbar and Wellbutrin had some side effects. One of the side effects is a hair lose. Some patients though that Ritalin may cause this too, but there are no proves about that. Other antidepressants can cause this too but, the risk is not that big.
