I was given norco about 5 years ago and all of a sudden the Dr just said NO...One thing that concerns me is why do they give them to you for that long, knowing how addictive they are then just stop. I took the 10/325 I believe, and took them as told, I never ran out, but now what do I do? I am 58 years old, never been addicted to anything and never abused the norco, reading this terrifies me that I too will suffer as everyone has stated, I wish I wasn't in pain, but it is something that will always be, I have spent a lot of time and money finding out what the problem is and have even went through physical therapy, which really didnt help plus it was expensive, then to all at one the Dr that started this just says NO...

Candi, you have my deepest empathy and sympathy.  What is wrong with your Dr.???? That is BAD medicine to do that to you.

One should never be cut off a med cold turkey, especially by a dr!!!!!  I would go to a pain control clinic.  Tell them your story and they should be able to help you.  At your age, I'm 55  you and I are too old to not have medicaly supervised detoxes.   I think your Dr. m,ust have graduated at the bottom of his class.  Remember  not all drs adhere to the hippocratic oath.
