I have hernieated l2-S1, buldging T11,12, spinal Stinosis, Severe sciatica, numbness and neropothy in my limbs. I have been on Norco 15/80 for about 10 years then on to methadone for pain, back off of the methadone and things were going well for about 6 months and then something changed in my back. I developed more herniated levels and my hands and feet were going numb and the sciatica was so bad I couldn't walk in to and from the grocery store from the parking lot. I am up to the max 3600 mg of Neurontin but it has started wearing off and I am back on norco for the severe cramping/spasming in my back.  I had some other temoporary issues come up and the doc switched me to percocet 5/325 for the time being and it is like taking aspririn for me in comparison. It makes me sleepy but I only get half of the pain relief I get from the norco. I was taking 2 10/325 4 times a day.  Is this normal for the percocet not to work as well as the norco??? My doc said it was way stronger but it is not doing anything for me as far as pain. It just makes me sleepy and I can't really function.  I am not sure what to do?  Should I tell him I want to go back to the norco until I can get the pain program to order a spine stimulator?
