No, withdrawal takes some time. Most people have no problem with withdrawal symptoms. Quite often, doctors will cut the dose by 2/3 and have the patient take that for a week and then the same dose (2/.3 of the orginal dose) every other day just as a precaution. All you need to do is take effexor whenever your next dose is due. Try to relax and gee, remember to take your meds on time. This is very important. As far as withdrawal, you will know if you start into withdrawal so it sounds like you are having no problem at all. I was wondering how effexor is working for you. Not all SSRI meds are created equal.
