When did it go away? I'm a couple minutes in and I'm about to cry. This is my first yeast infection and I thought that was the most uncomfortable I had ever felt. nope. This is by far the worst feeling. What helped?

I used monastat 1 10 days ago I feel like someone poured gasoline on me and set me on fire. I have been to urgent care my primary doctor my OBGYN and to the ER. I was told it was an irration after all test that were given to me came back negative. They can't tell me a irritation to what to think about what I have been exposed to since this started. Monastat 1 is the only thing. I have almost every system people describe on here. Sever burning and itching is the worse. Can anyone tell me if they have had this for days , how long it's lasted and what they did to get rid of it.

This may be so embarrassing to reply, but after using this I ended up in the ER! I almost fainted from the feeling of intense burning as if someone poured acid in me! Now my clitoris have no feeling

After you went to the doctor how long did it take for the burning to stop?

I also used it about 10-14 days ago, and the burning sensation would not go away. No cream or anything would help. I honestly don't know what to do at this point.

I cannot thank you enough for sharing your story. Had it not been for you, I would have never gotten that medicine out and it would have burned my insides alive. I was able to get everything out and, am not back to the original mile burning.

Giving birth didn’t hurt as much as using Monistat. I was in tears and crying so hard I could barely breath.

Again, thank you for sharing how to get everything out of you before more damage is done. I look forward to getting some sleep tonight.

You are a genius! I experienced all of this and after a few minutes of desperation and wondering if this is a common symptom I found your post. Thank you! And cheers to having a partner that will do anything to help!

I just used the CVS brand of the monistat 1 day. I really wish I would have read the reviews before using. I think I had a mild YI but wanted to use the fastest method possible. This was the worst mistake.!! I read reviews of people saying it felt like ants were eating your insides and that it makes you insides feel like they are on fire. This couldn't be more accurate. I went from being in mild pain to laying in bed unable to handle the pain. My insides and vagina hurt worse than they did with childbirth. After reading all the reviews I'm so disappointed that this is still on the market. I also didn't pay attention that it is 6x the dose as the 3 day applications. I'm curious to know when the burning and itching go away. I think I would have considered going into the ER if I wasn't so embarrassed. It is not worth the pain!!! Get something from your doctor or try natural remedies, don't resort to this!!!

I used Monistat 1 last night after getting a mean yeastie from antibiotics (for a UTI... my lady parts are not happy with me, apparently, but anyway...). I am 28 and haven't had very many of these. Last time I got one they just gave me Diflucan and I was golden in a few days. I decided to skip the doctor this time and get a quick cure.

I inserted the "bead" last night before bed and after about a half hour I had intense itching and burning, almost like really awful period pains. They were so bad I couldn't sleep for quite some time. BUT!! I woke up this morning and I already feel much better. There has been next to no itching today, which is a drastic improvement from yesterday when I wanted to tear my vag off and throw it into oncoming traffic because it itched so badly. The original swelling and pain and itching from BEFORE the medication has gone down quite a bit and I am sitting here now with very little discomfort at all. I feel like some women can get through it and not have a terrible reaction and some just can't. Sometimes this happens with high doses of medications. I probably won't use this again, but so far my insides aren't melting and leaking out of me, so I think I'm ok. Good luck to the rest of you gals having serious issues. The pain for me was BAD, like I had detonated a tiny nuke in my vag. If you can get through the pain, you might be alright, but who's to say??

I used it a few weeks ago the Monistat 1 and I’m still burning inside. It should be removed form the shelves immediately! I’m certain it has done permanent damage. FDA should remove it !
