i took the morning after pill 2 weeks before my period. i generally have bad periods anyway. i usually get cramps the week before i come on but this time i got sharp cramps and within 1 hour i was bleeding very heavily. i have taken it before but it was different then, i bled for 2 weeks none stop came off for three days then came back on for a week...this time i thought i was slowin down as i have been bleeding quite lightly for the past 3 days...only to find that this morning ive got very bad cramps and very dark red blood...ive had to ring my doctor to see if i can get some tranexamic acid! if i don't get it i think i'll die...

As you threw up after five hours of taking the pill i advise you must consult a physician for further advises. But keep it in your mind that the chances of getting pregnant is extremely low.

I had unprotected sex 1 day after I finished my period and took the morning after pill 43hours later. I started light bleeding (spotting) only 2 days after taking the pill, but now it is a lot heavier. It feels like my normal period except without the excessive pain. I had unprotected sex, stupid yes, anyway i knew exactly what had happend he didnt pull out in time so, We ran to the nearest pharmacy and picked up the pill, so it happenend at like 8pm and i took the pill at about 10:30. the sytems were slight and a few days later i ended up with a huge headache and then the next day i had slight bleeding all day, enough i needed a tampon but didnt fill tampons hardly. now its stopped and for the most part i feel like i am having my period only my periode was on the 23rd of june and its only july 5th, is that normal? I always have these sysptoms when im on my cycle, headache, achey legs, cramping, dizzyness and hot flashes but since i took the pill and its come early i wonder if its normal????

Hi I had sex on the 1st of July (Sunday), condom came off, so went and got the morning after pill about 1 hour after it happened, had initial bleeding but stopped about an hour later.
A week later on the 9th (Monday) I started bleeding, but it wasn't heavy bleeding very light, that I only had to use a liner. On Friday (13th) I went and saw my doctor she said bleeding was normal and put me on birth control (yaz) and told me to start it then, so I've been taking it since Friday at 8.30 everyday. This light bleeding continued for 10 days until yesterday (Tuesday) 17th it was like my period started and it was quite heavy.
Then I woke up this morning (Wednesday) 18th went to the bathroom and passed a blood clot about the size of 3-4cm in diameter.
Is this normal?

Hi, for how long have u been bleeding and how did it end? I took the morning after pill, 2,5 weeks ago, started bleeding 5 days later, very heavy with bloodclots etc and am still bleeding now, its light, but still coming. This Wednesday I'll be bleeding for 2 weeks, I want it to stop... Should I go see a doctor or will it stop soon? I dont know...

Hi! Well first of all, the chances of you getting pregnant on your period or the week after are little to nothing. Your body is least fertile at this time. That being said, you did overdose yourself on hormones. The mornjng after pill is a huge amount of hormones, and by taking it and THEN taking 2 more birth controls, you probably caused some damage to your system. If this was me, I would see an OBGYN ASAP. TAking that many hormones in such a short window at a time of infertility is super dangerous. Best of luck ,

My bf and I had unprotected sex. The first time we were just playing around and he wasnt erect inside me although I was pretty scared about precum possibly having sperm and so I took the ecp approx. 50hrs after. A week later, we used the condom but it broke and he was able to cum just outside of my genital area but to be safe I took the after pill again, 4hrs after the incident. My period was due a week later. It was late by a day and was pretty heavy. It lasted for 5 days. I was wondering if this was normal and if my cycle would go back to normal. Chances are, I believe I'm not pregnant as there were clumps of blood clot during my assumed "period" and vaginal bleeding, as per my research, is different to implantation bleeding as that occurs as an on-off bleeding and it said that bleeding during this time should be light and colour should be around brown to pink. Mine was pretty red so I wouldn't say that I am pregnant (thank God. Never repeating that mistake again) but I'd like to make sure if my period would resume to the way it usually is or will it be irregular? "Period" about a week later after taking ecp was on Dec. 15. You will be okay the pill works up to 72hours thats the best time frame they said you should take it although it can be taken up to 5 days your chances decrease each day but 72hours your good
