i have tryed to take a friend under my wing for help with his percocet addition he takes 4-6 perc 30 per day depending on what he can afford he has been clean for only 18 hours but swears that this is the first time he has even had a desire to stop. i care about him very much and want to be here fo support all i know to do is lay in bed and hold his hand through his withdrawls and stay with him 24\7 to make sure he stays on track and has someone to talk to. he wants to stop cold turkey and has been in bed for over 15 hours. so far his withdrawls consist of being cold, nervous, muscle cramps, he can be still at all and he says it is extremely hard to lay here knowing he can leave if he wanted to. i dont understand what he is going through and i wish i knew what i could do to help. i dont know if just a little bit would help him or just make him want more? please help.
