I took lo ovral for 3 weeks and then the placebo pills fo one week. During the last week I found out that the medicines I have to take everyday may make birth control ineffective so after three days of my new pack I quit. Even after a week of placebo pills and then not continuing the second pack I still did not get my period at all. Now its a month later and I havent gotten a period for March either. Could I be pregnant or is this just a side effect of birth control?

When I first started bc I used the Lo Ovral and I didnt get an actual period for about 3 weeks after starting it. However It could also be from your meds too, sometimes when u have to take other meds it will make your bc uneffective thats why they say you should use a back up plan while taking other meds. If I were you I would wait about a week and if you dont get your period by then go see your doc. I hope this has helped you
