Wow, this girl is a complete and utter prat! I have one testicle - been like that all my life and worse thing is NO ONE ever told me it's meant to be 2! I found out i was different when i was 12. Of course, new sexual partners sometimes ask but nobody seems too bothered, and it is a relief that i can father children and that it all works fine :-)

This is exactly the thing that scares the hell out of me. I've had only one testicle since I was about two. The thing twisted (called tortion of the testi) and had to be removed. All these years later it bothers me. I think about plastic surgery all the time. More than anything I wish I could feel like a regular guy. I worry all the time when I'm on a date that the person I'm with will totally freak out if they don't know about it before we have sex. I usually end up telling them about it before just in case it may be a problem for them. I always wondered what someone thought about a man with one testicle....and now I know. Lord knows she could have been a little nicer about it.
And on the topic of your man with one testicle doing something to make it more esthetically pleasing to YOU. What in the hell makes you think for even one second that you....in any way.....are esthetically pleasing to HIM? I really hope for your sake that you never lose a breast.

I was born with one testicle and since my father was a doctor so he sent me to various doctors who suggested that with time the testicle shall desend. Since I was consious of the fact that my other testicle was up there somewhere, I used to press my abdomen in downward direction. At the age of around twelve my left testicle desended. It was soft, tender piece of meat of the size of a new born baby's testicle. With the passage of time it became harder and grew in size.
Now the size of my left testicle is smaller than my right one. Sometimes I feel pain in my left testicles and some times in my right one, but never in both at the same time. I have a high sex drive. I am married and have 4 children. I have urge for sex every third day.
What dangers must I expect for future as I am 40 now.

I am 36 and born with one testicle. I can feel something else in my scrotum which may be a very small part of the missing testicle but I just always prefer to say I only have one.
For a few years in my 20's, I thought of getting a testicle implanted. However, reaching my 40's, what's the point? I now think of it as making me more unique. I also never knew it affects 4% of the public. Interesting.

I am 24 and had an undescended testicle. My advice is not to tell any one. My sister told everyone and people went on the PA system in grade 6 at a dance and announced it. I have an above average sized penis and a regular sex drive, but if people find out it will be hell. Keep it to yourself.

I am also a monoball, it went missing between the time I was born and the age of 6. I had surgery when I was about 8 to go exploring for it but it was never found. The doctors said it probably got infected and shriveled up when I had the measles. Word got out at primary school and that was not good as I got teased quite a bit (which is to be expected from young kids). Other than the teasing in primary school, it has never really been a problem, my girlfriend actually thinks that my sex drive is a little too active and she is pregnant as I type this, so no problems there.
Oh....and my monoball seem to have grown a little larger than the average to compensate :-)

Hey, LOL... i find it odd that so many of us have similar if not identical stories. 24m and was born a uni-baller. Just never had a second one to begin with. Anyways, like most (ok prob all) of you all Ive been self-conscious about it, but in the end its probably a blessing cause its made me be careful with who I let know about it. at 11 or 12 years i told my mother and she told me "when you grow up it will be fine". Right now i am very mad it dosent bother me that i have one testicle it bothers me the incompetent people that work in our hospital. My grandfather died becouse of them (long story) and friends have told me how stupid the people are there. Probably they never looket how many testicles i have(not that it mather anymore...).
Anyway, my testicle sometimes gets in (ascends) for a short time (i feel it) and after i push it it comes back again (that hapends rarely) and i feel my other testicle(the one that never has come out) the same way but it dosent come. So is this normal?
Оtherwise everithing other is fine.
P.S. I think having one testicle is bether than two becouse when someone kicks you there it hurts less. :-P
