My bf and i had protected sex but the condom broke, so about an hour after it happened, I took Next Choice one dose. Today, about 12 days after i took the pill, I started bleeding and having cramps. My actual period isnt due for a few days. Could this just be my period starting early, implantation bleeding, or because of the pill? I've been very stressed out this month also. This be a factor? I wasnt trying to get pregnant and dont want to, but we were trying to be safe, but the condom broke. Help please? :(

It could be either. Usually if you take a pregnancy test too early it will come out negative. How long did you wait before you took the pregnancy test?

I havent taken the test yet, but that same day, I later started bleeding like i was on my period. And knowing how my periods are, Im sure it was it. Should I take the test still or is there no reason to? I still freak out about these things sometimes..
