Im a 27 yr old mother of 2 (ages 4 and 5). I recently decided to go back on birth control as I have been having sex quite regularly. I started my pills th 3rd of July. My bf and I had sex that night and had a big "oopsy" condom broke. Then I took pills for 2 days after that then quite taking them as they made me really sick. So come the 8th of July i had withdrawal bleeding that lasted 3 days. Then we had another incident on the 16th where the condome broke again. Now I'm concerned about being pregnant. I'm having the symptoms but haven't tested yet because I'm not sure how to calculate when I should be due for a period. If i go with my normal schedule i'm 4 days late but i go from the withdrawal bleeding i should be due by end of this week. Can someone help me out on this?

There definitely is reason to be taking the possibility of pregnancy into consideration - you were not protected the first time condom broke and obviously, also not the second time, because you already were off the pill. Since the hormones from the pill obviously had side effects - nausea is the major sign of that, there is also the chance that they had tampered with your cycle as well, so you really can't rely on that (withdrawal bleeding is just a reaction to stopping pills, it doesn't help when trying to determine fertility). Luckily, there is still some rule about when to take the test - at least 15 days since the last "incident". But since there is a chance that you might have gotten pregnant when the condom broke for the first time (depending on when you started the pill in your cycle), you can take the test now, or wait for exactly 15 days since 16th.
