Hello, last October I had pneumonia and needed 2 rounds of antibiotics. I've been fine but these past 2 weeks. I feel discomfort, somewhat pain on my left lung where I had the pneumonia and in my upper back left side as well. I have this feeling like always wanting to crack my back for relief. I do know that I've had scarring which the doctor did mention wouldn't go away but is this the result of my pain? I'm starting to get scared and putting other things in my head - is this feeling normal, normal in the sense of having pneumonia a year ago exactly and feeling pain again now? I live in a cold climate so not sure if that has anything to do with it. I also have a ton of stress. If you'd like to respond to me, please reply.

I have been noticing the same problem. I had pnemonia about three years ago and it seems as though everytime I am in cold weather or try to go swimming I feel out of breath very quickly and have a sharp pain on my right side ( the lung that had pnemonia). I too have had the idea to try and crack my back to try to relieve this discomfort. I'm not sure weather this is normal or something I should have looked at..
