okay, veering away from any conventional approaches to defining the causes to a disease, a possible cause can be the rise of dioxins in our diets... high risk foods include seafood. even though i'm of east asian descent, i normally did not eat much seafood my whole life. but i remember it was around the time i drastically increased the amount of seafoods in my diet that i (horrifically) discovered my own sp. the reason i see dioxin as a possible cause is that upon seeing internet cases of dioxin poisoning, i found that a very common side effect of dioxin poisoning is a condition called chloracne. although SP is not chloracne, i'm wondering if SP can possibly be a very mild initial form of chloracne...? (any reasonable replies from any health professional would be appreciated!) ridding dioxins from one's body is a very (very) difficult task as i think it might be a bio-accumulate... something that just amounts to more and more when exposed to just a little bit. i've tried many methods of detoxification, and even changes to the diet (including the decrease in fish), but no luck just yet. i havent tried any nutritional supplements or medicines just yet and will self experiment with the former, to see if that can help anyone here. and yes, the psychological effect on me was quite deep, damaging, far past embarrassment. anyways, the whole dioxin bit is all pure speculation as i am not a medical doctor... just yet. :-) i'm also getting rechecked by a doctor who's quite thorough, and hopefully can elucidate this matter - hopefully better than the uninformative, doctors who were too arrogant to admit that they do NOT know.
