My girlfriend's period began on November 26. She began taking birth control the following day, 8 o'clock on the dot. However, yesterday (December 2), we had unprotected sex somewhere between 5-7pm and I ejaculated inside of her. We were told that the pill gains effectiveness after a week (a mark we obviously didn't reach) and to take it during the same time.

That Sunday, she took the pill an hour later than normal. She also has a fertility calendar on her phone that tells her when her fertile days are (shown by green/red dots), and it listed December 2nd through 8th as green dots (indicating fertile days), with the 7th being her most fertile. Naturally we were worried, so today we got her an emergency contraceptive pill. She took it at 3:30pm and she's scheduled to take another this morning at 3:30 am.

So what are the chances of her being pregnant? I know the odds are in our favor since we took the morning after pill, but I can't let go of the fact that she was fertile or that she had 5 days worth of birth control pills in her. This really seems like a mixed bag.
