About 7 months ago I had a beautiful baby girl, but along with this wonderful addition to my family came along many medical complications. The doctor originally diagnosed me with a fatty liver and hyperthyriodism. Oddly enough I started to feel sluggiush and started gaining weight (which is not normal symptoms for someone who is hyper) and so they retested me. Then things switched up and I became hypo. They have since put me on 100 mg synthroid and I can't say the I really feel that much better. I still feel tired, I have gained another 10 pounds, and for the past 3 weeks I have felt like there was something stuck in my throat that I can't get rid of by swallowing. Like food has lodged there and no matter what I do it just won't go away. The doctors are still checking things out for me and I have more blood work coming up to check on my liver. I'm just worried that I may have nodules. I have read a lot of posts and wondered if this is a common side effect/symptom for people with thyroid problems. Any comments are appreciated.
