Hello. I'm 24 year old female and for always I had difficult and painful menstrual periods but these last couple of months- it became really bad. I have never experienced anything similar. Besides the excessive bleeding, I started to suffer from strong abdominal cramps, anemia, and expressed mood swings. So, I have decided to do something about all this because I can't live longer like this.
A good friend of mine told me that I could maybe relieve my symptoms using some Progesterone. I don’t know anything about this and I would really like to find out more about this Progesterone and its effects on PMS!

Hello. I know some facts about Progesterone and I will gladly share them with you. You see, I don’t know do you know, but Progesterone is naturally secreted by the ovary in the second two weeks of the menstrual cycle in reproductive age ovulating women.
I will tell what the main effect of this hormone is.
Progesterone acts to stabilize the tissue lining of the uterus so the high dose of this hormone can be very helpful in a case of irregular and heavy menstrual bleeding.
Beside these good effects it has also some side effects. Too much progesterone often causes tiredness and even sedation. You should also know that Progesterone tends to promote vaginal dryness by counteracting the effect on lubrication of estrogens.
