In August my husband had a cervical foraminotomy performed on his C-8/C-7. Since the surgery he has complained to his Dr. about on going pain in his neck, such as a crunching feeling and not being able to move it like he did before the surgery, the Dr. blew him off and said it was fine. Now the past couple of night's he's had severe headache's that start's from the neck and moves up to the back of his head and it's so bad that he has to lay down right away. I would like to know if this is normal or is there something wrong? We had a lot of issue's with his doctor concerning the surgery, he also had Carpal Tunnel surgery on the same day and that ended up with massive complication's. He had contracted MRSA from the hospital (he was tested for Staph pre-op and that came back negative) he had the MRSA in his hand, massive anti-biotic's, but was sent home with the wrong one's and didn't find out about the MRSA till a week later. Does any of this have to do with the severe headache's or is it just the cervical surgery? Any opinion's would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
