I specifically asked my Dr. How long I should wait and he said 3-4 days... it seemed odd to me.

I had cryotherapy done over a month ago. After 3 weeks I had sex and there was blood. So we waited another week thinking I needed more time to heal. We had sex, and I bled again. So we waited another week. Wehad sex a few days ago and there was more blood this time. Im now cramping. Its like pinching instead of a dull ache. My bloodis now a darker red but im concerned. ...have I damaged something???

You definetly should not be having heavy bleeding. It is normal to have light bleeding. You should see your doctor.

Hi I'm new to all of this, I've done my cryo almost two weeks ago and the discharge and smell was horrendous but I implemented more water in my daily diet and although the smell is still there is weakened a little, now the problem is its Wednesday and I'm in pain, the sharp pain in my lower stomach started Monday, but I was trying to though it out, I thought it might be gas so I've been taking gasx since yesterday and it felt like it was helping now I'm laying in bed with this radiating sharp pain, my lower stomach is sensitive to touch, I've had nauseous spells, and my discharge has a little blood when I shower and wash I see very little blood but why now, I didn't see any blood for the whole week after the procedure, I'm gonna call my gyn in the morning but I need advice. I don't think I was pregnant before the procedure I took two test that were negative but my doctor never checked to see if I might have been, this is a reach but can having cryo when you're pregnant affect you especially if you didn't know? I'm being silly I guess I don't think I'm pregnant I've been getting my period but there been weird not normal, spotty or really light

First of all, you can't get the virus 'again'. Once you have HPV, you will always have HPV. Depending upon your immune system it can flare up again, causing cervical dysplasia. There are no tests currently for men; an oncologist is for cancer - urologist specializes in the urinary tract and male reproductive organs.

My doctor said the same thing

Don't get the infection again. You would already have hpv regardless. The procedure only takes care of symptoms.

My doctor told me to wait a week after this procedure. I did. After having intercourse the first time, I'm in extreme pain.

Men can't be tested for HPV.

You still have the virus, the doctor just killed the bad cells you have in the cervix but the hpv isn't curable, your partner can't reinfected you because you still have it

I had sex at exactly 2 weeks and then got checked by my doctor and she said as long as the very watery or heavy discharge was gone I was fine!
