dear everyone,
i am a 45 year old who has been diagnosed with degenerate c5-6 and c6-7 with myelomalcia and sever bilateral foranminal encroachment, basically bruising and swelling and compression on the spinal cord. all three opinions have been to have the Anterior Cervical Discetomy with the titanium plate and bone bank surgery.
my symptoms are headaches, burning pain in arm and joint pain in wrist and joints, but also leg weakness in both legs. the leg weakness is scary because i can't walk to well. some doctors say it's the neck, some say it's not. i also have some sciatic pain. could that be why?
this is the main question too: i have had this for four years now. can the damage be reversable? some doctors say yes others no.
the pain is on and off for the last 4 years. but it's ruining my life and my marriage. PLEASE HELP. I NEED SUPPORT> :(
