Hello. I'm 45 year old male and I'm having some serious hear problems. About a week ago my stomach and my fingers started to swell constantly.
I thought it will stop by it self but it didn’t.
I didn’t know that it could have something with my heart but it did.
My doctor told me that the swellings are causing by fluid buildup and that I need some good diuretic to reduce this swelling.
I don’t know anything about all this but he prescribed me this Hydrochlorot. Supposedly I should drink it for a week and than contact him again. What side effects I could expect from using this drug- do anybody knows that?

Hello. I know some facts about how these diuretic drugs are working. You see, they stimulate your kidneys to work and to make more urine then usual, which will lead to the loosing any extra fluids that could be found in your body. Your heart is weak and it can't pump all the blood the blood through the system. That’s why this extra blood is pressuring your blood vessels causing exit of fluid out of vessels.
All I could find about possible side effects of this drug is that the most common are weakness, or sometimes even and muscle spasms.
But in generally they are now famous by their side effects.
I have even read that they can cause pancreatitis, diarrhea, vomiting, cramping, constipation, and nausea but I don’t believe that are occurring frequently.
