Ear pimples are very painful because there is no fatty tissue there to cushion it. Get someone to take a bobby pin and put it on the far side of the pimple. use firm pressure and drag it towards them over the pimple. If its ready it will pop. It will be immediate relief. Put alcohol on a cotton pad and clean the whole outside of your ear with it once daily. Hope this helps.

I think I have an ear pimple but I'm not sure. My mom told me it was a mole when it first came up a few weeks ago. It was whit so it blended in with my ear. Now it's getting bigger and red. Is it an ear pimple? If so I know how to help it but Im confused cuz I didn't think it was a mole but I'm not sure. Help please?

I have noticed that when I use certain shampoos, I get sores in my ears. Pantene, Loreal, Head and Shoulders, have all given me sores. When I stopped using the shampoo, they went away. If I use it again, the sores come back. I haven't had any trouble with the shampoos from the salons, or with Herbal Essence, or Aussie. You might just try another shampoo and see if it helps.

I literally just came from the doctor for the same thing.

He looked at it and said it's so big, my ear canal is almost closed.  He said not to pop it.  For pain, he said to use over the counter pain reliever and a heating pad might feel good.  He said to use Neosporin on a Q Tip to keep it clean.  It will either come to head or more likely, it will just go down.

I got a really bad one a week ago. It happened to me several times already. I know it's dangerous and all, but I took some antibiotics I had laying around, it was for a sinus infection, but it got rid of the redness and the pimple dried up in 2 days. Then I took one of those earwax scoops and I scraped out this large yellow oil plug. Yeah pretty gross but way better than having to deal with pus.

I've had them a few times. I have one right now. It started a week ago with a little lump and a bit of soreness and got worse. Yesterday opening my mouth and stuff hurt. Woke up this morning and it had popped in my sleep!! WOOHOO instant relief. I'm putting peroxide and antibiotic ointment on it. Its right at the opening of my ear canal
