I am 56 year old, female. I am suffering from spondyliosis for years. I am physical therapy at the moment. I am afraid that I am going to end up in wheel chair one day. I think I would not be able to live like that. I cant even bare to look at the people in the wheel chairs. My family is too far from me. Is this conservative treatment of spondyliosis successful?

As far as I know it is very successful. I think that rate of success is between 70%-80 %. I know that pain and other symptoms of sponyliosis can be effectively treated without surgery. I have a friend with spondyliosis. He was on physical therapy and on anti-inflammatory drugs and muscle relaxants. He changed, since diagnose was set, his life style completely and he is doing fine. I am proud of him, he lost some weight, quit smoking and he even changed occupation.
