After having unprotected sex (first mistake), my boyfriend and I got online together and read that by starting birth control containing estrogen and progesterone after the possible contraception, said birth control could be used as EC. However, after discussing it with other couples, it turned out that regular birth control can't really be used as EC. I stopped taking the birth control and had a period. Is it possible that I'm pregnant?

You don't mention how long you were on the contraceptive, but my guess would be that if you had a regular period, at the regular time, you're not pregnant. My suggestion would be to take a test and find out for sure.
