I stopped taking my birth control pill. I had unprotected sex a few days after my period. However, I did take plan b 48 hrs after the unprotected sex. Ever since then i've had sore boobs, lower back pain, and pressure in my lower abdomen. A few days ago I went to have protected sex with my boyfriend and I was sore and the sex was somewhat uncomfortable. Today I started my period and it is 10 days early. I was also diagnosed with polycystic ovaries about 6-7 years ago. This has never happened to me though. This period is painful from all of the pressure that i'm feeling in my abdomen. My period isn't heavy or light, it's normal. I'm 29 years old. Any idea what may be going on with my body?

All of the things you mentioned are side effects of the plan b pill. Probably with the onset of your period the effects got a little worse then normal. If its really uncomfortable, go see your doctor. Also I would suggest not taking Tylenol as the acetaminophen in it will make your side effects a ton worse.
Are you on any other meds by any chance?
Cheers

It's not my first time taking plan b. I usually experience slight cramping for a day after taking it. I'm pretty familiar with the effects that it has on my body. I'm thinking that maybe it's the effects on going off of birth control or maybe a decent sized cyst on an ovary or maybe something that I am unaware of.

Of course nobody know your body better then you. My suggestion is go to a doctor who can examine you thoroughly. Most of all don't stress about it because stress can cause a lot of problems in itself.
