I'm a 21 year old male and I've has this strange lump on my penis since I was about 14, So i'm certain it's not an STD.
I really don't want to have to go see a doctor about it because its awkward and pretty much horrible.

Right, so let me give a detailed description of this lump:

It's located on the right side of the penis where the foreskin starts (circumsized), It is under the skin and feels like its the size of a pea, however, its more elongated and ovular. If i feel for it hard enough it kinda feels like its got a short "root" almost... about 1.5cm, but very subtle. I have squeezed it before and white puss like substance (a stringy consistency, not like a face pimple) has come out, but now barely any if none comes out. If i squeeze hard enough a hard almost cartlage like substance is pushed out about 1 or 2 milimeters but it retracts back in once i stop squeezing, I scratched this substance before and it feels kinda like what cartlage should feel like and its yellowy white in color. The lump is quite hard and hasn't grown or shrunk since I got it 7ish years ago and it doesn't hurt at all unless i tamper with it too much.

Should I be worried? I really don't want to go see the doctor for something like this...

hey there hobnobs,

since this lump is something you have had for years and it has not gotton worse or cause any problems you should be fine. i wouldnt worry about it. but if you go to get a yearly physical at the doctors you may bwant to just have him take a peek at it just for ease of mind.

Hey guys.Well, this is rather interesting because we can't exactly tell what we are talking about just from description of the lump on penis. Listen, I have had the same issue before and it was very disturbing for me too. I was too shy to see anyone about it but when I finally decided, I didn't regret it. So, what I'm going to do is to advise you to do the same because we might be talking about some kind of cyst here, and it won't remove itself on its own without proper treatment. See someone about it and let us know how it went.
