Hello, folks. I have started to yawn several hours ago. I don’t know whether I inhaled air or something similar, but now I feel some strange pressure inside my ear preenting me to hear well. I would like to know what is wrong with me. Can anyone help? I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hello. I would say you have a barotrauma. It is a discomfort caused by differences in pressures between both sides of eardrum. You should try to open Eustachian tube and relieve the pressure. You can try again with yawning, chewing a gum or sucking a candy. You can also inhale and then gentle exhale while your nostrils and mouth are closed. If this doesn’t help, then you should visit an ENT specialist. Maybe there your ear will be washed out. I hope everything will be all right. Good luck!
