I am 37 and have been going through some unexplainable events here lately.

I have been spotting since March 12' before and after my periods. I first thought i might be pregnant, so after 3 tests, my mind was assured i was not. Progressively the spotting started becoming more and more heavier, and it seems when i pass a bm it would bleed right after, Always a bright red. (the blood is coming from my vagina, i am sure of this). The entire month of October i bled pretty steady for the whole month, This is when i decided i need to talk to some one (maybe i was hoping it would clear up on it's own?) ,SO  i made an appt with the Np at my doctors office, who puts me on progesterone for 10 days, and orders an ultra sound of my pelvis.

Do all that mumbo jumbo, and then i start my period that following friday. I notice that when i take out the first tampon it looks like the blood is almost black, ok,,,, weird,,,, so i go on through the weekend starting a pretty heavy flow for my period, (way heavier). Sunday, i start to freak out, i am going through a regular tampon AND a maxi pad every hour. I went to the emergency room freaking out. I have never bled this much out of my vagina in my whole life. They take some blood, do a pelvic exam, and now prescribe me another kind of bc called northedrone acetate, and tell me to make an appt with a Gyno. Ok, done. She talks to me about doing a biopsy in a couple of weeks, and wants me to keep taking the bc. Well it's almost been a full week, and i am still bleeding pretty heavy everyday, and it seems when i pass a bm, it's almost unbearable with pain and cramping. Everytime. The tests came back from the ultra sound, and it seems as nothing is there, but god dang it, I feel strongly otherwise! Has this ever happened to anyone? I have always had a really regular period my whole life, and i have no one who i can really talk to , and i feel like i'm going to seriously lose it. I am scared
