I am concerned about patient dignity. I don't mind going to a female doctor but I don't like it when they bring in chaperones to sit and watch especially when it is a modestly sensitive examination. Shouldn't the doctor have to ask her male patients consent first before having another female sit and watch a man's modestly sensitive examination. It doesn't bother me to be examined by a female medical professional because she is just doing her job. Presumably she that is what she is thinking about. However, when another female is just sitting and watching what is she thinking about. Maybe she is thinking about what to have for dinner that night but I don't know that.
