I need some Toradol injections info. I was prescribed with Toradol injections, and I suppose to start with my therapy next week. Until now, I used some painkiller (I forget the name) and my doctor told me to stop with further use of them. I do not know if this is relevant, but I am expecting small surgical procedure next week too.

Toradol is a non steroidal anti-inflammatory medication such as aspirin. It is used to treat mild pain or for pain from long term conditions. Because of its side effects, Toradol should not be used for longer than 5 days. Injections of Toradol can be applied to into your vein (called intravenous) or into a muscle (intramuscular) As you can see from now, this therapy can be related to your surgery in order to decrease pain before or after the procedure.
