Hello, folks. My father has been diagnosed with gout and he is in a lot of pain. For those who do not know, gout is a disease where crystals of uric acid accumulate in one’s joints. This causes enormous pain. I would like to know if I can give him Toradol. Does anyone have any experience with this drug?

Hi, there. I have heard about gout. My neighbour has it and he mentions how terrible pain those crystals can bring. Toradol is a non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Like most of them, it also can cause some side effects like bleeding, ulcers and similar. That is why I recommend consulting a doctor first. Don’t give your father Toradol on your own. If you do not use it properly, there is a higher chance for developing side effects. Please, let me know what you find out. Bye!
