I had a baby 6 weeks ago and previous to that I had taken OTC for 10 years and loved it! All positive side effects! But my Dr. gave me Levora, already after 2 days I cannot stop crying. I am so depressed I don't want to leave my house. So I asked the Dr. for OTC, and the pharmacy gave me Tri nessa bc I dont have insurance... I was wondering if it is the same as OTC I am hesitant to take another hormone since mine are so screwed up right now. Can anyone tell me if they had a bad exp switching from ortho to tri nessa? thank you

TriNessa birth control is just another brand name for the Ortho tri-Cyclen birth control pill - they both contain exactly the same combination of active hormonal components, ethinyl estradiol and norgestimate. So, the pharmacist gave you the same pill, only different brand so there should not be any problems on account of that. Only thing that might cause you troubles is hormonal mess the previous pill (which you obviously couldn't take well).
