My physician prescribed me Promethazine for my skin rash. This is the first time I am using it. What I should know about this drug?

Promethazine is as you probably know antihistamine and it is used for allergic symptoms, itchy skin rashes and other different conditions. If you experience uncontrollable movements of your eyes, lips, face, arms, call your doctor because that could be a sign of a side effect. Be cautious when you are driving, because it may cause dizziness and drowsiness, also be cautious with alcohol. Take each oral dose with glass of water or with food, and make sure that the dose is correct. Take care.
