i have been using clonazepam 0.5mg and 75 mg imipramine once a day for the last 3 weeks, and now my doctor told me to stop taking the clonazepam and continue on the imipramine but after a week i am feeling some symptoms like tiredness in my legs, abdominal pain , nuasa and loss of apitite.
is these symptoms due to adiction to the benzo ? if so, how can i cope to these symptoms?
any one who has withdrawal experience

Your dosage of Clonazepam was carefully chosen in order to minimize possibility of benzodiazepine withdrawal but yes, some minor signs of that withdrawal like tiredness and changes in appetite could have happened, but only for a day or two. Imipramine however is notorious as a medicine that causes a lot of side effects. Those side effects most often are headaches, anxiety and stomach problems like Diarrhea, Dry mouth, nausea, vomiting and change in appetite. If these side effects continue you’ll have to talk to your doctor about them.
