My vagina is always itchy. Sometimes the itch spreads to my anus. The itchyest part is my perineum (skin between anus and vagina). There is also a bump on my perineum. The itch has now spread to my clitorus. I find myself scratching in my sleep which i am sure is not good.

There is no abnormal discharge or smell. The itch becomes worse right before my period.

Anyone that can give me any information on what i should do. Trying to avoid doctor as i have had problems with him in the past and cannot find a new one in a small community.

I have had the same problem for the past year. I have paid privately to see 4 different doctors, had internal, and anal exam., loads or creams, and still have the problem.
I would love to solve this uncomfortable embarising itch!

I've had this for years. Went to U of M and no help. One dr said to put on Aquaphore and that is the only thing that has made life bearable. I have it next to the toilet and put it on every time I use the restroom and just before bed. Also, just a thought--mine started up after I began drinking a lot of green tea. They say it's so good for you so I didn't think it was that. Now I do. When I take vitamins with it in them, I seem to start itching more too. It also could be a hormonal thing. This all started after I went through my change.
