I recently had a beautiful baby boy. He is really perfect, but he does have vitiligo on his back. He is mixed race, and I was wondering what he would look like for the whole pregnancy, but this is something I didn't expect! I have understood that this is very uncommon in newborns and I would love to hear from others who have had babies with vitiligo, or know of such cases. Do you think the vitiligo will just go away?

Hi there, I have a 3 month old mixed race baby boy (I am white brittish and my partner is black jamaican)
My baby boy has a visible line round his cheeks where his skin colour goes from dark to light, this didn't really bother me as it is not drastik! (but stil noticable).. but then all of a sudden a few days ago appeared another lighter skin tone on his chest and arm. I haven't been to see the doc yet, I am going to tomorrow, I was just looking around on the net first.
Did your little one seem to develop his colour change or was he born with it?
