Hi all,  I wonder if anyone has the experience to tell me what is probably going on here.

My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and a half.  Up until pretty recently, we had insane amounts of sex without any ill effects.  We don't use condoms because my boyfriend has a bit of a problem with getting  softer and then harder again during sex and the damn things just won't stay on.

Lately we do it quite a bit less, but this same thing happens nearly every time.  Sometimes it's immediate, but sometimes it strangely doesn't happen til a few, even several hours later.

All around the opening of my vagina gets REALLY sore, swollen/inflamed, terribly itchy, a little bit of burning, it's painful to wipe (but not to pee) and makes me walk a bit uncomfortably. Skin around the opening of the vagina and all up in the creases by the urethra is really torn up looking - sometimes the skin is odd-looking, almost like there are little splits or blisters or sores, but if I leave it alone and maybe put some all natural creams or oils down there to soothe it, it will go away usually within a day or less.  I just sort of rinse it with warm water and then pat dry and apply some lotion with pure shea butter, cocoa butter and some type of oil.

There IS a fishy odor.  I have been diagnosed with a yeast infection a ridiculous number of times before, I seem to be a walking yeast infection.  I do have herpes but I haven't had an outbreak or any symptoms in over ten years.  But Herpes sores wouldn't just vanish after a day, right?  They'd persist and then heal over and stuff?

I've heard that it could be anything from Bacterial Vaginosis, a Yeast Infection, just a friction burn, symptoms of the Herpes, to Chlamydia, etc.  I'm perplexed.  Especially as to why it would only be happening lately, all of a sudden!  I want to make it stop!
