Most of my life I found it extremely hard to put weight on. I always weighed 115 lbs with the exception of 2 pregnancies of which were 28 lb and 30 lb gains. Almost 3yrs ago I started steroid injections for chronic neck and back pain along with muscle spasms. Almost 3 yrs ago I started a 30 lb. weight gain. So, I say with a resounding YES, you DO gain weight with steroid injections!

This must be very risky for weight loss to reduce weight after all this treatments. You can go for a regular exercise for weight loss. And try to drink as much as water you can drink for a healthy body.
