Does anyone have trouble swallowing on the generic? I stay sick on my stomach, pain in my abdomen, and pain in muscles and joints, not to mention the awful dry mouth(ugh)

It's the Topapax....aka Dopamax. Lol. Loss of words is a very common side effect. I use to take it for
Migraines and it made me feel like a complete id**t.

I've been on Topamax for a while. It took me a very long time to get over the pins and needles feeling. Plus, I do like that it makes soda taste nasty(which helps). I had stupidly got off of it for a while bc I didn't go back to the doctor for a while, but back on it and now with Wellbutrin xl 150 for now. He said that 300 is what he was aiming for, but you have to gradually get up there. So, maybe that is why you are feeling that way.

I have been on Wellbutrin for several years and gained 30 lbs in the first 2 months. Almost impossible to lose the weight. I went to the gym for a year for an average of 9 hours per week, ate very healthy and I struggled to lose 2 lbs. Very depressing.

I went from taking 20mg of cipralex/lexapro/escilatopram to now 450mg of Wellbutrin per day. I went off the cipralex because it completely messed with my libido and since I don't suffer from anxiety, it heightened my sensitivity. As soon as I switched I lost a good chunk of weight (10 pounds - now 120 at 5'5), my depression symptoms disappeared, and my libido was back in full swing! It also helped with my energy levels, as I went from 3 coffees a day to 1 if at all, and stopped me from smoking. Unfortunately, my depression symptoms have returned so I'm not sure what the next steps will be.

I am on 400mg of Wellbutrin everyday. Notbmuvh help for depression or weightlio. However, I am on the highest suggested dosage I like the fact there is no sexual side effects as there is with SSRI antidepressants such as Zoloft, Prozac. But wish I could take a hugher dose. I inadvertently took an extra tab one day and Zi definitely wasn't hungry although a little jittery.

I just started Wellbutrin XL on Monday (12/5/16). I'm 5'9" 176 lbs (heaviest I've ever been) I'm really hoping I have the same effects as you!! Dr. is starting me out with lowering Paxil (been on for 3 years) while increasing Wellbutrin. Hoping to feel how I did when I was a month in with Paxil--lost a ton of weight & felt the best I ever felt in years!! Wish me luck.

I was on Wellbutrin 300mg from Feb '15 to January '16 and I lost 45 lbs.. I quickly packed the weight back on and have not lost it despite being very active. I have SADs and have anxiety issues. I decided to get back on it. Though.. My side effects besides weight lost are very vivid nightmares, talking in my sleep, insomnia, and full blown panic stacks for the first few months. It will get better.. I have prepared my husband lol

I'm concerned as my doctor prescribed me Wellbutrin SR 150 mg once a day for the off label use of weight loss only. I'd gained 30 lbs on other medications and no weight loss program of exercise and diet seems to help lose any weight. My hope was only to take this for 9 months then wean off of it. Did you gain the weight back after stopping to take Wellbutrin? That's my primary concern now. I've taken it for only 1 day and noticed a bit more restless sleep than usual as well.
