Hi, guest.
There are several possible causes of fever at night, which include:
-
Infections: Fever is a common symptom of infections, such as cold, flu, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, and other bacterial, viral or fungal infections.
-
Inflammatory disorders: Fever can also be a symptom of some inflammatory disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and inflammatory bowel disease.
-
Cancer: Some types of cancer, such as leukemia and lymphoma, can cause fever.
-
Medications: Certain medications, such as antibiotics and blood pressure medications, can cause fever as a side effect.
-
Hormonal disorders: Fever can also be a symptom of some hormonal disorders, such as hyperthyroidism.
-
Autoimmune disorders: Some autoimmune disorders, such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, can cause fever.
-
Stress: High levels of stress and anxiety can also cause fever in some people.
It's important to note that fever is a symptom of an underlying condition, and it's usually accompanied by other symptoms, such as fatigue, body aches, and chills.
