Hi, I had a surgery of diaphragm hernia. Operation went well, but afterwards, I was always sick. As they explained me, physiological passage on diaphragm was narrowed by the doctors. Part of the stomach went through that hole, and this was prevented by the operation. For preventing the nausea, I was prescribed with trimethobenzamide. What are the side effects of trimethobenzamide?

Trimethobenzamide iz antimimetic. Its basic role is prevention of nausea and vomiting that occurs because of radiotherapy and citostatics. It is very efficient with post operative nausea. Most common side effects are hypotension, diarrhea, dizziness, depression, diplopia, and even coma and convulsion with bigger dosages. So, it is very effective, but the price for its benefit could be very high.
