my girlfriend and i had unprotected sex on the 27th of july and she was mean to see her period on the 16th of august but up till now she has not seen it. my worry is that all the signs that shows that are period is coming took effect but still no period.we had done the home pergnacy test and the result was negative.i would like to find out what could be the cause of the lateness in are period and what can we possibly do.

Any time you have unprotected sex, the chance of pregnancy is high. Your gf could be pregnant. Wait a little longer and take another hpt. If she does get her period, tell her to on get some birth control.

Okay, are you saying that she just had her period but she had a fever while she was having it? If so, she is not pregnant, but a fever may indicate that she is comming down with something.

I have no idea what she could have cought. She might be catching a cold, or the flu. There are many illness's that come with a fever. Just tell her to take 2 tylenol then 4 hours later take 2 motrin, then repeat the process evry four hours. She is probably just getting something basic. If she is not feeling well in a few days and the fever is still there, she may want to call her doctor. Don't panic if the temp is anything under 101. If it shoots higher and she can't bring it down with the tylenol and motrin, she should see her doctor.
