Hello. I'm 19 year old male and I have some delicate questions concerning sexual health. Just recently I've become sexually active and all this time it was with just one girl.
This is first sexual experience for her also and I'm not afraid of any sexually transmitted disease.
Anyway, I have noticed that I have these small bumps on my genitals covering the base of my penis and my testicles. I don’t remember having them before. Could they be a sign of some STD! A friend told me it is called sebaceous prominence. Could someone tell me more about this delicate issue?

Hello. I would really like to help you because probably you don’t have any reason to be worried.
Your symptoms definitely pointed me to think about sebaceous prominences as possible cause.
You should know that these sebaceous glands could be found on several localizations on body including lips, eyelids, penis, vaginal labia and nipples. They are considered to be completely normal and no treatment is necessary! If you are touching them to much you are increasing your chances to develop some infection because they could be easily infected. Just relax- you are definitely not the only one with this condition.
