Hi, folks. I have noticed some lesion in my mouth and I decided to visit an oral surgeon. He told me that this is precancerous condition and that I need a smaller surgical procedure. I would like to know if my mouth cancer will be treated effectively in this way. What do you think? I would like to read your opinions.

Hi, there. Don’t jump to the conclusions! Precancerous condition is not a cancer. It is only a state that may lead to the cancer, but doesn’t have to. Usually, surgery is enough in treating these conditions. You should also make some lifestyle changes if a doctor recommends. You have a predisposition towards oral cancer, but you don’t have to have it. I hope this helps. You should talk about this with your oral surgeon. Good luck!
