Hi, guys. My mother in law has some lesion in her oral cavity. After some examinations and test, it is determined that she has cancer in her mouth. I really don’t know much about this. I would like to know what the methods are to deal with this. Does anyone have any idea about this? Thank you in advance.

Hi, there. You cannot expect a universal formula for the treatment when it comes to any cancer. Each patient needs an individual approach. If the cancer is localized only on epithelium, then surgery alone will be enough. However, it can spread. In those cases you can combine surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. In some cases, all of those methods are necessary. I recommend you consulting your mother in law’s doctor. He must give you more details. I hope everything will be all right.
