I am 33 and went on Yaz to help w my adult acne...I have been on it for 8 months (in which I have not had 1 monthly period) & my acne had gotten better till recently and its not a normal breakout...the left side of my face-the spot above my nose (in between my eyes)-around my mouth-chin is swollen n red w dozens of tiny (what looks like) whiteheads!! It wasnt happening very often, but now seems to happen every 3 weeks, which is my pms week!! Along w the fact my right eye has developed a dryness, so my contact tends to move around a lot...my right eye also itches & swells...my seasonal allergies have gotten so bad that my medications arent working & my pollen allergies are the worst!! My family prac sent me to an allergist who said my eye and my face she thinks is caused by a contact allergy or something im taking...so I stopped all makeup and took out my contacts & Im still having the problem...my eye doc says my eyes are healthy and that certain medications cause dry eye...I also feel tired, constantly bloated, sometimes it feels like someone is sitting on my chest making it hard to breathe & I have a lot more indegestion than I ever did before...but the breaking out problem is about every 3 weeks, other than then, I am clear...but it takes a week to heal, and is very embarassing...Is anyone else having this problem?? HELP!!
I am stopping the pill today...My OB is going to start a new pill later in the week. :-(
