Hello everyone, I am reaching out to see if anyone else has experienced what I am going through. About a month ago I got a pap smear done, vaginal sonogram and a regular sonogram. I had been on my period about 2 weeks before my appt and had been off my birth control for those 2 weeks (i've been off my bc for much longer period of time in the past) since I need my annual for my refill. Right after the vaginal sonogram, I felt a bit discomfort and began spotting. After 24 hrs my spotting turned into full menstral cycle, I called my gyno and said to wait 74hrs and to take my birth control and that I would go away. 5 days later I called again and went to see her as I was still bleeding, she told me maybe my hormones where low but to continue my birth contol and that the bleeding would stop. 2 weeks later I called again as I was still bleeding and once again she couldn't have an answer for me so she did a hormone test of which everything came out normal and she prescribed 800mg of Ibuprofen. 3 1/2 weeks later and still bleeding I decided to called a friends gyno from florida who prescribed me, hemoblock 500 mg (3x a day). Thankfully that seemed to have stopped my bleed, and I was reliefed with joy to be able to be intimate with my Fiance again after being on my period for a month. However it wasn't as joyful, I began to bleed again, very thick, not light menstral blood, with a particular odor, I did not experience pain or discomfort and soon stopped bleeding after. I imiditaly called my gyno and again she has no answer! I am beyond fustrated and scared and I do not know what to do anymore. I've called and seen 3 gynos and no one knows, so I've decided to ask the online mass for answers. I plea for any advice or experiences.
